The two perpendicular blades of each set square are made from high-quality steel that's been hardened and tempered for extra toughness and strength. During the manufacturing process, they've been beam-ground and blade-ground then lapped, which removes any bumps or imperfections from their surface to ensure an even greater degree of accuracy.Conforming to the BS (British Standard) 939 grade B classification for squareness, as well as the American GGG-S-656E/29 certification, these engineer's set squares have also been extensively tested to meet RS PRO standards. Ideal for quality control in manufacturing and construction environments, they're often used in workshops.
