Shell material is glass filled thermoplastic, with a rated operating temperature of -55°C to +125°C. Contacts to be ordered separately see typically stock no. 437-3712 Plastic connectors, nickel plated to outer body and bayonet ring to satisfy EMC requirements. Cable mounting shells are supplied with metal PG tube, containing twin ferrule system for 360° cable shield continuity. The 2 shells are polarised and locked together by a bayonet action metal ring.The COM8-1 tool 266-6860, provides an 8 point impression crimp assuring maximum tensile strength on wire sizes up to 2.5mm². The cycle controlled, precision ratchet assures consistent and accurate crimping over many operations.
