UniCam ® Plug, ST ® Compatible, 50 µm multimode (OM2) The UniCam ® ST Plug from Corning offer reliable optical properties and allow quick and easy field installation of fiber optic connectors. The UniCam solution is ideal for fibre-to-the- desk applications as well as similar installation environments where up and down times are critical. The high-precision mechanical splicing allows the installation of fibre networks quickly and cost-effectively. LC, SC or ST ® UniCam plug can be made up in less than 1 minute with the associated UniCam high performance tool set. The light, handy installation tool and the corresponding precision separation device reduce human installation errors and ensure the success of the assembly - right at the first attempt, every time. The tool set was made for installers, from the separation device with integrated double-sided fibre holder (900µm / 250µm) to the installation tool, which gives an immediate visual "go / go not" feedback.
