The 3M Scotchlok hot shrinkage press connectors can be used in installation technology wherever you want to connect single-wire conductors using press technology. After the hot shrinking, the connectors also offer an insulation protection against moisture. They are therefore particularly suitable for applications in non-air-conditioned rooms or outdoors. The seamless connectors are made of tinned copper and are surrounded by an insulating layer of polyolefin with an inside coating of hot-melt glue. They withstand a maximum voltage of 600 volts, their maximum operating temperature is 105 ° C. The press connectors are available in red, blue and yellow with a maximum cross-section between 1.0 and 6.0 square millimetres. The maximum cross-section is the same. The Scotchlok hot shrink press connectors are UL and C.S.A. listed for use on flexible lines up to 600V.
