The potential separator / signal converter is used for the separation of analog signals in the range of 0 to 10 V DC and 0 to 20 mA DC or for signal conversion from 0 to 10 V DC to 0 to 20 mA DC or 0 to 20 mA DC to 0 to 10 V DC. The input or output signals as well as the supply voltage are potentially separated. An input signal 0 to 10 V or 0 to 20 mA can be connected to the device. Function Potential separation: For PT-C12, the input signal 0 to 10 V is compared proportionally to the output signal 0 to 10 V. The PTi-C12 compares the input signal 0 to 20 mA proportionally to the output signal 0 to 20 mA. Function Signal conversion with potential separation: For a signal conversion from 0 to 10 V to 0 to 20 mA, or 0 to 20 mA to 0 to 10 V can be adjusted by means of an integrated spindle trimmer. In addition, a hand emergency control level with a TRADE AUTOswitch is integrated with feedback contact. The output signal 0 to 10 V or 0 to 20 mA. A constant output voltage of max. 10 V DC, 5 mA is available at the terminal 10 V. The input Y is used to display the output voltage Ua. The brightness of the LED depends on the height of the output signal (bridge between Ua and Y). Alternatively, an external signal can be switched on at input Y for LED display from 0 to 10 V DC
