The MC200CM is a media converter designed to convert 1000BASE-SX fiber media to 1000Base-T copper media or vice versa. The MC200CM was designed in accordance with the 1000Base- T-Standard (IEEE802.3ab) and the 1000Base- SX-Standard (IEEE802.3z) and was designed for use with multimode fibre cable and the SC-plug. The MC200CM supports the short-wave (SX) laser specification at a transmission rate that corresponds to the full bandwidth. It works at 850nm when sending and receiving data.
