APC Switched Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) allow comprehensive control of the power supply of systems and active monitoring. The remote-controlled outputs allow reboot operations to be switched on / off and prevent unauthorized use of individual outputs. Adjustable delays allow a user-defined order for switching on and off connected systems. In addition, overload of circuits can be achieved through targeted consumer switching and the extension of the operating time of critical systems by prioritising load distribution. The real-time remote monitoring of connected loads is possible through current measurements. Switched Rack PDUs allow power monitoring in real time and have a port for temperature / humidity sensor and lockable IEC outputs. User-definable alarms warn against potential overload of circuits before a failure of critical IT systems occurs. Access to and configuration and control of Switched Rack PDUs is possible via secure web, SNMP or telnet interfaces. These are complemented by APC Centralized Management Platforms that use InfraStructure Central, Capacity Manager and Change Manager.
