The Qube XL is a high-end streaming speaker with built-in bluetooth / (W) LAN receiver and an amplifier with DSP (Digital Signal Processor). A separate algorithm was developed for the DSPchip, which makes a dynamic sound adjustment in the speaker. This technology, the WHD Adaptive Sound Plus, ensures, among other things, that the listener experiences a high quality sound even at a low volume. Depending on the location, 3 presets can be selected: None, Wall or Corner. In addition, an external audio source can be connected to the Qube XL via the Line- In via the Cink cable and form a music zone for up to two Qube XL - without Wi-Fi. Like all our WLAN receivers, the Qube XL already has an Internet radio on board. This has the great advantage that you can hear Internet radio without a smartphone / tablet. If the Qube XL does not play an internal Internet radio station, it receives the music from a smartphone or tablet via the WHD multiplayer app or any music apps via AirPlay *, DLNA or UPnP and returns it via the connected speakers. The Qube XL can also be operated via the buttons on the device (break / play, skip, VOL + / -). Like all WHD WLAN receivers and speakers, the Qube XL is compatible with spotify connect. An optional KNX gateway can control all (W) LANdevices from WHD - including the WR 55, WR 205, the WR 250 HS and the AirBridge. For example, you can select an Internet radio station via KNX, which is played directly. No smartphone or tablet is required. The volume can also be controlled via KNX and the module can be switched off. The high-quality aluminium case is painted in black or white, the real wood case is available in oak, walnut or pine. Both versions are equipped with a fabric cover. Special colours on request. The WH QB 300 ball joint holder is available as an accessory.
