The design is ideal for the discreet monitoring from the ceiling. The power supply can be made by network cable (Power over Ethernet, PoE), for example from the router or a recorder, especially useful at hard to reach installation locations, thus saving installation costs. Efficient commissioning & smart video surveillance The monitoring camera completely automatically distinguishes between person and vehicle - it stores and reports only what users are interested in. This, together with the strong data compression, ensures a very efficient storage use (recorder, NAS or microSDcard). The commissioning is already kept slim: The camera's user interface is quickly called by PC / browser or recorder / monitor as well as ABUS IP installer, so that the first live image can be seen in a few minutes. Individual settings are also made quickly (e.g. schedules, private zones, etc.). Strong WDR function & IR LEDs for any sharp picture. The IP camera also master highly fluctuating light conditions, e.g. with a lot of counterlight in input areas or generally outdoors (WDR 120 dB).
