This kit is completely pre-addressed to address 1 in the delivery state and must only be installed and connected electrically. In addition, there is the possibility to share or quadruple the ring key via DIP switch code and to convert this kit into a two-family house or four-family kit by extending further internal stations, audio or video. A maximum of 4 internal stations can be installed audio or video per participant. The intercom is equipped with a ring line for hearing aids, which transmits the audio transmission directly into a suitable hearing aid and facilitates the communication to the visitor in front of the door. In operation, a magnetic alternating field is sent from this ring line, which in the receiving coil of the hearing aid generates an electrical voltage by electromagnetic induction, the course of which is similar to that of the audio signal. In the hearing aid, this is reinforced by the audio amplifier and directed to the ear of the carrier via the earphone. In order to be able to use such induction loop systems, the hearing aid must have a so-called telephone coil (short: T-coil) that takes up the magnetic interchange field of the induction loop. The microphone of the hearing aid is usually disabled when using the telephone coil. With the optional accessories item 4792E, the horizontal inclination of the door station can be changed by 25 °.
