These connectors are also known as figure 8 or shotgun connectors due to their shape! C7 and C8 connectors have two conductors, a rated current of 2.5 A and a maximum operating temperature of 70°C. Both these connectors conform to IEC-60320 specifications laid down by the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) to ensure the connector meets common global design standards
