These RS PRO patch cables, also known as Ethernet patch cables are manufactured using Category 6 cables, commonly referred to as Cat 6 Cable. When storing your Cat 6 patch cables, we advise you lightly roll your cables into a loose coil, going with the natural curve of the wire. When not in use, we suggest the cables are stored in a protective case where dust and impurities will not get into the connector ends.
