These bootlace crimp ferrules are made from a soft tin-plated electrolytic copper and have a soft plastic cover to further enhance the connection and prevention of fraying. How to crimp a bootlace ferrule?

Ferrules are simple and easy to install. Firstly, they're mounted to the end of a stripped cable and are simply compressed onto the cable (typically with a tool) to form a tight and sturdy fit onto a cable. Once they're crimped onto the cable, give a gentle tug to ensure it is tight. Once you're sure it is tight, you can then proceed to mate your wire with connector.
