The cable length tester is a multifunctional device that allows high accuracy and fast measurement results. With appropriate use, the cable length tester can be used to measure already laid and still to be laid cables. The cable length tester can be used to determine cable lengths of up to three kilometres. This is done by a time range reflector. 20 standard types of cables are pre-stored on the cable length tester itself and a further storage of up to 99 cable types is also possible on the device itself. The stored data can be seen directly on the device and can be used as desired. Due to the built-in technology, relatively short cables can already be tested. The minimum length of a cable to be tested with the cable length tester shall be five metres. To increase the battery life, the device is automatically shut down after an inactivity of 10 minutes by default. This automatic shutdown can be adjusted individually by the user at intervals of 10 minutes.
