Self-contained heating band for frost protection and for keeping process temperatures. Can be used wherever a high heating power is required or the heating band is exposed to high temperatures. VPL- heating bands can hold process temperatures of up to 235 degrees Celsius and resist steam flushing and temperatures up to 260 degrees Celsius in the off-line state. The heating band consists of two parallel, nickel-plated copper ladders, 3,3 mm2, a high-temperature fluoropolymer insulation, a performance-limiting heating element, a high-temperature fluoropolymer insulating coat, a protective plate of nickel-plated copper litze and an external black high-temperature fluoropolymer protective coat. For C-type fuse machines according to EN 60898, the maximum heating circuit length at 16 A fuse is 100 m at a switch-on temperature of -20 degrees Celsius at AC 480 V power 61 W / m.
