This USB Type C connector has a reversible plug interface enabling it to accept a plug in any direction eliminating orientation issues. A compact PCB space saving design with a depth of just 8.8 mm makes this USB Type C connector ideal for use in small mobile devices. This USB Type C connector has a robust structure with an outer shell that is soldered directly to the PCB. This outer shell design offers protection for the contacts against scooping during insertion and withdrawal of the connector. The front contact leads of this USB Type C connector are DIP and the rear are SMT. This configuration ensures that the performance of the connector is not effected by impacts caused by insertion.
