LWL laser source for ferrules 2.5 + 1.25 mm
Optical troubleshooters are used to break single-mode and multimode glass fibres and other fibre-optic components, or To test errors or to find the right mating in a bundle of glass fibres. The red light source for LWL is equipped with two adapters, with which almost all fiber optic connectors can be contacted. 1 x universal adapter for 2.5 mm ferrulen (DIN, E2000, FC, SC, ST, etc.) and 1 x adapter for 1.25 mm ferrulen for SFF plug (LC). The used wavelength of about 650 nm is very visible. With an optical output power of approx. 1 mW, the red light source corresponds to the laser class 2 (IEC 825-2) and can be operated freely without protective measures. Due to the small, compact and handy design, the device is ideal for daily use in a wide range of wiring tasks both in the open field, in the rough industrial environment and in the laboratory.
